About Seaside Casual

For over 25 years Seaside Casual has been a proud US manufacturer, designing, building, and distributing from our home in Rhode Island.

Every piece of furniture that we offer begins on the design table at our family-owned Rhode Island facility, after which all of the raw materials that we use to create our award-winning Seaside Casual Furniture products are machined, assembled, processed, packaged, and shipped by our team from our warehouse in Coventry, R.I.

Envirowood is made from an extremely high performance polymer that does not require sealing, painting or staining. It will not rot or splinter, and contains UV inhibitors that resist fading. Envirowood is not affected by most corrosive substances, and will not absorb moisture or promote bacterial growth. To maintain Envirowood furniture you must simply clean it regularly with soap and water (avoid pressure washing). The stainless steel fasteners used to assemble your furniture are virtually maintenance free under normal conditions. Seaside uses only the highest quality stainless fasteners to assemble furniture; however in coastal areas hardware will require regular washing or rinsing. Avoid using harsh chemicals on Envirowood furniture.

  • Seaside Casual furniture is made from Envirowood, an all weather marine grade recycled HDPE polymer - the kind found in milk jugs. Our furniture is essentially a maintenance-free product. Our HDPE material is non-porous and resistant to moisture, fading, insects, splinting, warping and other hazards of environmental exposure common to wood and wood fiber composite products.
  • Our twelve acre 100,000 square foot facility provides the template for sound environmental stewardship. Since the purchase of our
state of the art facility in 2007, we have continually strived to find areas needing improvement, and work towards making it better.
We have reduced and reclaimed thousands of tons of corrugated cardboard, wood debris and other recyclable material, previously moved into the waste stream, and have either repurposed, recycled or reduced our reliance on them.
  • All stainless steel fasteners are not created equal. Low grade stainless or painted components can easily corrode in harsh coastal environments. We use marine grade stainless steel (316) to ensure superior protection when exposed to the elements.
  • We test the ergonomics of our products constantly throughout the design phase and we believe our customers should have the opportunity to do the same when making a purchase. Because of this belief, we forge relationships with retailers who offer brick and mortar showrooms. These relationships ensure the expertise that we expect and the service our customers appreciate.
